You have been steadily journeying through the stages of awakening. You have come from a deep sleep, to being awake and moving around, but your eyes are still a bit hazy. It’s time to wash away the last bit of sleepiness from your awareness and reach the point of full awakening.
Your complete awakening journey never really ends, but reaching the final stage is the place where you’ll want to stay. Getting there isn’t as easy as making a decision or having an intention, it goes beyond. It is achieving that perfect balance and becoming aware of all possibility.
Your action homework for today is to begin including an awakening meditation session into your day. I suggest that you do this just before you go to sleep at night, to give you the peace and quiet you will need to allow yourself to see past your own emotions, thoughts, and feelings. You need to connect with the witness within. Once you do that, you will have awakened.
During the meditation, think of yourself as separate from your mind and body. Distance yourself from those emotions, thoughts, and feelings and dig deep to discover what lays beneath that. There you will learn about your soul. You will know your purpose. You will understand your role.
